Your hospital accommodation – what you’re covered for…

• Full cover in a select range of public and private hospitals with semi-private room accommodation.

• 2,500 in-patient consultants.

• Medical costs of in-patient diagnosis and tests covered too.

• Private hospital excess - €150.

Your everyday medical expenses – what’s included…

• GP €20 per visit, max. 6.

• Dentist €20 per visit, max. 6.

• Physiotherapist €20 per visit, max. 6.

• Practice Nurse €20 per visit, max. 6.

• Vhi Online Doctor – 6 visits, available through Vhi app.

€20 per visit - combined 6 visits to any of the following:

• Strength and Conditioning Coach, Dietician, Nutritionist, Chiropodist, Podiatrist, Acupuncture, Orthoptist, Chiropractor, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapy, Osteopath and Reflexologist.

Annual maximum of €1,000 and €1 excess per person, per year. The excess means that when your eligible benefits have exceeded the value of €1, we will then pay remaining eligible benefits up to the value of €1,000. Take a moment to review the Table of Benefits for more details.

Vhi SwiftCare Clinics – dedicated benefits for Vhi customers

Why wait to be treated for minor injuries and illnesses? Vhi SwiftCare Clinics aim to treat you within the hour. As a Vhi customer, you can avail of the following exclusive benefits:

• Full cover for unlimited visits, subject to an excess of €75.

Out-patient scans

We provide cover for medical scans that include MRI, CT and PET-CT ranging from pay and claim back centres to direct pay centre arrangements, covered in accordance with our rules.

• MRI scans within your hospital list – full cover (pay and claim back centres subject to an excess of €125 per scan).

• PET-CT scans within your hospital list.

• CT scans within your hospital list.

Consultant and diagnostic benefits

• Consultant visits - €60.

• X-rays and scans in an approved centre - €40.

• Blood tests in an approved centre - €40.

Annual maximum of €1,000 and €100 excess per person, per year. The maximum reflects combined value for day-to-day, diagnostics and consultant benefits. The excess means that when your eligible benefits have exceeded the value of €100, we will then pay remaining eligible benefits up to the value of €1,000.

Newborns, mums and more – what you’re covered for…

• Full cover in a public hospital for up to three days.

• In-patient maternity consultant fees – agreed charges.

• One-to-One midwife pregnancy support service - giving new and experienced mums' support over the phone, throughout the pregnancy.

New Maternity & Baby Bundle

Our new Maternity & Baby bundle gives you and your baby access to a wider range of new and improved benefits to support you throughout your pregnancy. 

You’ll have the flexibility to choose from benefits such as a maternity scan, yoga, Pilates and ante natal classes through to breast feeding consultations and baby swim classes.
