National Call Centre Award for Vhi Healthcare Kilkenny

23rd November 2001 - Ann Mulholland Vhi Healthcare Kilkenny, was awarded Call Centre Agent of The Year at the 6th National Call Centre Awards 2001 (ICCA) held in the Burlington Hotel recently.

The award was in recognition of outstanding Customer Service delivery and her contribution to the team. Working from Vhi Healthcare's Kilkenny Business Centre since July 2000, Ann had returned home from London with her husband and three children where she had been nursing for several years. A delighted Ann said " It's a great personal achievement and I am proud to accept this award on behalf of my colleagues in Vhi Healthcare, who share equally in this success."

Ann comes from a family of team players - she is the daughter of Kilkenny hurling legend Philip 'Fan' Larkin and a sister to current Kilkenny star, Philly Larkin.

Vhi Healthcare has always been at the forefront of a strong commitment to serving its customers. Since the opening of the Vhi Healthcare Kilkenny Business Centre in 2000 the company has received many prestigous awards for its customer service. During the first nine months of operation, Maurice Whelan, Customer Service Manager, Kilkenny won Call Centre Manager of the Year at the fifth National Call Centre Awards 2000 (ICCA).

More recently, the Kilkenny Customer Services, Claims and Sales Team were the overall winners of the Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards. In addition, Vhi Healthcare also won the Kilkenny Service Provider of the Year Award.

In addition to housing a state of the art Call Centre, the Vhi Healthcare Business Centre also includes a claims processing facility, Software Development department, Occupational Healthcare unit, HR Section and Post Room facilities.
