Maternity Benefits

Full cover for up to 3 days private accommodation in a public hospital or an allowance of €3,400 for up to 3 days accommodation in a private maternity hospital.

Up to €3,400 towards the medical expenses incurred for a home birth.

Your newborn baby is covered free until your next renewal date.

If your child is in hospital for more than 3 days, you may claim an allowance of up to €40 per day to help with your travel or accommodation costs, for up to 14 days in a calendar year.

NurseLine 24/7

NurseLine 24/7 is a confidential telephone support service staffed by qualified nurses who supply information on a wide range of medical conditions and queries.

Terms And Conditions

Child rates apply to children under 18 years of age. Student rate, where applicable, applies to any dependent over 18 and under 21, in full time education.
All amounts displayed are net of tax relief, which has been deducted at source.
Vhi Healthcare members do not pay surcharges on any instalment payments. The price remains the same whether you pay monthly or yearly.
