Full cover for up to 3 days private accommodation in a public hospital or an allowance of €3,500 for up to 3 days accommodation in a private maternity hospital.

If your child is in hospital for more than 3 days, you may claim an allowance of up to €100 per day to help with your travel or accommodation costs, for up to 14 days in a calendar year.

Child rates apply to children under 18 years of age. Student rates, where applicable, apply to students in full-time education up to 21 years of age.
All amounts displayed are net of tax relief, which has been
deducted at source.
Vhi Healthcare members do not pay surcharges on any instalment
payments. The price remains the same whether you pay monthly or
yearly.
