Global from Vhi Healthcare is designed to give you the best care and treatment should you or your family fall ill overseas.

To claim for benefits under Global:

• Call the Medical Assistance/Pre-authorisation line prior to receiving any medical treatment, or within 48 hours in the event of an emergency or where you are physically unable to call. The telephone number is +353* 46 9077377 (+ First dial the international access code. * When dialling from the Republic of Ireland omit 353 and first dial 0)
• We will arrange for approved hospital treatment to be paid to the hospital directly so you won’t have any bills to pay upfront.
• For approved out-patient treatment payment can be made by cheque or direct transfer to your bank account.
• Following your treatment (hospital and out-patient) you should complete a Global Claim Form and send it along with the originals of any bills you receive to the following address:

• Your claim will be assessed within 5 working days.

Note: You must submit your claim within four months of starting treatment.
